Tanks Sound Design Devlog

At the beginning of our assignment I worked fast to ensure we had effective and organised communications, so my first step was to create a Trello board as seen above.
Additionally, we organised to use a discord server to coordinate outside of the meetings. I set up the server and handed full access to the server to my teammates, who created the channels they needed as they saw fit.
I initially attempted to use FL Studio for my small soundtrack, however I struggled to figure it out in a timely manner as my brother, my main source for all things audio and DAWs, was unable to assist me at this time.
I moved to musescore as I had been using that about 8 years prior in musicianship classes with the conservatoire, I sampled the iconic windows xp startup and shutdown tunes for the opening of our game. I took the score and extended it into something nostalgic and mentally preparing you for that ever loved crash tone. I then went on to use Adobe Premier Pro to edit sound files both off royalty free websites and recorded by myself to create sound effects needed for the game

With our groups history of poor communication, I made sure to be involved in every meeting I could so that 1. I could always ensure that I'm on top of my workload and that anything required of me could be effectively communication and 2.
In this screenshot my files got corrupted, but I created parts of some background noise to loop endlessly, this was for computer fan noises, which I took from royalty free websites. Id done work in film classes before ensuring background noise didn't sound jarring so I cut the noise at given intervals to create blocks of beginning, middle loop, sound of strain, and end. I faded the tracks into each other so that it would be hard to tell they were changing, and the strain and middle loop tracks could repeat on themselves
When we had to present our idea pitch in class, I had worked to ensure that we could coherently present the game. Our group had history of not working well in presentations. Thankfully, PuPu, our teammate had made a stunning slideshow for us, and off that I worked on a script for our team, ensuring no information overlap or wasted time, and allowed Catster to present the gameplay video at the end of the presentation with minimal confusion from the audience.
In the final days, to ensure smooth progress towards the upload and submitting of our assignments, I created and organised the project on itch, ensuring that all public information we will have on the project does not include anything private such as names, and that all contributors were included and able to upload their develops without issue.
